In this talk, we will discuss our recent progress on second-order correlation weak-value measurements. By extending the conventional weak-value measurements to second-order correlation function, in one experiment, we have post-selected a nonlinear observable to improve the sensitivity of EIT-based magnetometry in an atomic vapor cell by few orders of magnitude in comparison to previous reports. In the other experiment, we are exploring photon statistics as a probe in the combination of positive-negative data post-processing in a Hanbury-Brown and Twiss experimental setup to manipulate photon statistics.
