The combination of experimental and numerical techniques previously developed for analysis of spurious BAWs in delay lines based on YX-LGS was applied to LGS cut with Euler angles (0°, 138.5°, 26.7°) used in high-temperature SAW sensors. The ratio between the amplitudes and delay times of SAW propagating at the frequency ƒ=3·ƒ0 and the undesired BAW overlapping with this SAW was studied in order to suppress the BAW and use the SAW overtone for sensing purposes.
