There is a pattern of doing one research in group in final assignment. This pattern is making a software product together, which every student has their own job desk. In doing the research, each student has information need that is correlated in making the product so that a group discussion of supervision is done to create collaboration between lecturers and students. This group discussion can also be called Collaborative Learning (CL). However, this pattern has weakness, i.e., the difficulty and the limited time for supervision through face-to-face meeting. Due to that problem, an application is needed to support the CL in order to ease the process of final assignment supervision. Based on the purpose, one of the main important factor to support the success of an application to reach the goals of users is User Interface (UI) that meets the usability element. Based on that background, goals analysis of users is needed because each user has their own goals in doing the final assignment supervision. One of the methods that can be applied is through Goal-Directed Design (GDD). GDD is one of the methods to design UI focusing on goals of users in using certain application. There are six process stages in GDD method: research, modeling, requirement, framework, refinement and support. Usability testing uses the factor of Quality in Use Integrated Measurement (QUIM). This research resulted in the design of UI for application of final assignment supervision which is suitable with the goals of users and meets the usability element.
