With the increase interest in developing small cells architecture for wireless communication, providing backhaul to the basestations is a major challenge. This paper propose the use of Amplify-and-Forward (AF) full duplex (FD) relays in millimeter wave (mmWave) communication in wireless backhaul links between the cells. We are using hybrid (analog and digital) beamforming to overcome the propagation losses of outdoor mmWave environment. The proposed system performance was analyzed using channels with limited number of paths. Results show significant performance improvement for the full duplex links over half duplex links. The results also show how the antenna array size at the source and destination influences the system performance.
