Helix TWTs are one of the important components in communication systems, radar, medical systems and scientific research areas. Using the finite element method, a software package named Thermal Simulator (TS) which is a part of Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) and can be used for thermal analysis of Helix Slow-Wave Structure was developed. To validate TS, numerical results for a helix slow-wave structure are compared with ANSYS.
