In view of the requirement on time synchronization for wireless sensor networks in coal mine lane ways, one feasible algorithm for time synchronization is proposed in this paper, and the integration of the localization and the time synchronization model is also solved effectively. Based on the 3D localization model used in coal mine lane ways, combining the distribution characteristics of the relay node, sensing node and measured node, with the introduction of pairwise broadcast synchronization and series multi-hop synchronization algorithm, the estimation of clock offset and skew are solved by virtue of the joint maximum likelihood and the least square method, thus the time synchronization of the wireless sensor network is solved. The feasibility and the effectiveness of this scheme are analyzed by simulation from the point of synchronization precision and the number of synchronization message view.
