Due to boiler water level nonlinear, delayed and non-minimum phase characteristics, meanwhile there also has no precise mathematical model and with the problem about traditional PID control parameters are fixed which lead to an undesired control effect. Therefore, this article presents an optimal control scheme based on fuzzy PID algorithm. The optimization scheme has a good ability to learn and can sum up the experience of skilled operators, which can use language to express them eventually, this control strategy also known as fuzzy control rule. Based on conventional PID control system, the drum water level fuzzy PID control scheme has designed in this paper which can achieve a better control quality. Through Modeling and Simulation with MATLAB software, we can see that the fuzzy PID have advantage of excellent control adaptability.
