A 100W Wireless charging system for the E-bike is presented in this paper. The operating frequency is about 1.7MHz band and the magnetic resonance (MR) technique is used to implement the system. The system is composed of two charging stations for the function of the transmitter and the E-bike which has a receive resonator, a receiver, and a battery. The proposed system is designed to have the same transmission efficiency in certain one-dimensional distance. Two transmit resonators are used to achieve the constant transmission efficiency in certain area. Two transmit resonators are respectively mounted to the two charging stations to make a one-dimensional charging area. The uniform transfer efficiency is achieved regardless of the position of the receiver by creating this charging area. By the measurement results, the transmission efficiency is maintained below 10% in the 80 cm charging area. The human protection function is also applied using the distance detection to the approaching human, and the charging current control to decrease the average electromagnetic (EM) field exposure level under the reference level of 1998 ICNIRP regulation. The EM field simulation is performed to determine the distance and charging current level in order to insure the human safety from EM field exposure.
