A quasi-Yagi antenna with dual-band performance is presented. The proposed antenna consists of a printed double-dipole driver element fed by a 50 ohm coaxial line, two co-planar dipole directors and two reflectors. Different from the other quasi-Yagi antennas, this design employs a new driver element, which helps to obtain a dual-band functionality. The proposed antenna operates at 2.4-, 5.2-, and 5.8 GHz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band. It is printed on a dielectric substrate of thickness 0.8 mm and relative permittivity 4.4. The size of the antenna is 33×52 mm2.
