Optimal sizing design of a micro grid (MG) is an important task that must be precede the construction of any MG. There exists an effective coordination between its different resources. In this paper a methodology based on the PV power forecasting and the evolution of load curve is proposed for the optimization of an isolated MG. The proposed method focuses to determine the size of PV panels and batteries into this MG with the minimal cost keeping the system reliability. In this paper the reliability system is evaluated by the loss of power supply probability (LPSP). The optimal configuration is chosen for the one which compromises between the reliability system and the minimal cost. Simulations results are presented in the end of this paper and the effectiveness of the presented methodology is proven.
