In this paper, we have presented a novel double color image encryption/decryption technique with RGB pixel shuffling, which not only provides high security to both images but also enhances robustness in the cryptosystem against cross talk disturbances. A modification, in generating a complex image using both the color images, has been proposed for successful decoding in the gyrator (GT) domain which provides an edge over the popular Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) domain. The extensive numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is capable of recovering both images in a noisy environment.
