Next generation wireless cellular 5G networks operating in mmWave band target a peak rate of 10Gb/s for both outdoor and indoor applications. However, in this frequency band penetration through brick pillars, concrete walls, and tinted glass hits a barrier of 30dB or more attenuation. An outdoor RF/relay station has to be placed along with an indoor RF/relay station and a mechanism to connect the two. We propose to connect the outdoor and indoor RF/relay stations with copper-wire pairs that are already installed on almost every home worldwide. With at least two copper pairs, copper can support 10Gbps up to 50m or longer making indoor access possible.
