With the growing focus on memristor research, many groups are trying to develop memristor emulators due to the lack of actual solid-state memristor samples. Previously several attempts have been made to design emulators based on the ideal model of the memristor (HP model). This model is very simple and doesnt emulate the properties and behaviors of the real solid state memristors. In this paper, we introduce a generalized emulator that is built using the nonlinear models of the current controlled memristors, such as, exponential model of memristor (Simmons tunneling model). The mathematical modeling and analysis of the proposed emulator are also introduced. Filially PSPICF and analytical validations are presented.
