A triple band bowtie antenna with multiband operations for Long-Term Evolution (LTE2300/2500) and WLAN (5.8 GHz) applications is presented and studied in this paper. The antenna is designed using transmission line method; this antenna is suitable to be embedded inside the casing of the laptop computer. Three operating bands covering 2.3ߝ2.4, and 2.5ߝ2.69 GHz for the LTE and 5.725ߝ5.852 GHz for WLAN systems are achieved with good radiation efficiencies. The results are simulated using TLM by advanced design system and compared with two methods: moment's method using AGILENT and finite integration technique using CST MW Studio.
