Recent progress in the studies of the spin Hall effect (SHE) [1] has significantly advanced this phenomenon towards applications in the future generation of spin-based electronics. In particular, the demonstrations of efficient control of the dynamic magnetic damping [2] and magnetic fluctuations [3], and of the magnetization auto-oscillations resulting in the coherent microwave generation [4], revealed a significant potential of SHE for high-frequency signal processing microelectronics.
