Stator bar transposition is a key technology in the electromagnetic design of water-cooled turbo-generator. Transposition bars are located in the slot within the scope of different leakage magnetic fields, circulating current and additional loss are produced among the parallel strands connected by the end nose, which bring the local overheating and seriously affect the operation safety. In engineering, proper twisted transposition can suppress circulating current and avoid local overheating of stator bar[1-2].
