The BMI framework is inevitable for approaching complex robust control design problems with structural constraints. Some heuristics have been recently proposed to deal with the optimization problem under BMI constraints which is known to be NP-hard. This paper participates to this research by proposing a reliable Iterative LMI approach that achieves more efficient results than others when solving some H2 and H∞ decentralized control problems.
