In this article, a design of non-contact sensor which is based on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) antenna for monitoring physiological parameters is proposed. In order to remotely monitor the activities of heartbeat, respiration and body movement, this article designed and implemented a Yagi patch antenna whose working central frequency is 2.45 GHz. The gain of the original antenna is 8.1 dB. Considering of low cost, simple structure and the ease of fabrication, the antenna is designed to be integrated into a circuit on a PCB to form a single antenna system. In order to guarantee high performance, the circuit was optimized by recalculating the length of each element, enlarging the size of ground and so on during the integration. Both the simulation and the experimental measurements validate that the designed antenna has a gain of 7.7 dB.
