Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are networks composed of a number of sensor nodes that communicate wirelessly. WSNs are utilized over a wide range of applications. This paper looks at the WSNs from the applications point of view. A survey of some of the key-applications that utilize WSN nowadays, along with their specifications and capabilities, is briefly presented.
