Indoor air control of particulate matter (PM) consisted of house dust, bacteria and so on was carried out to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) using atmospheric pressure plasma [1]. Two types of corona electrodes were placed inside a reactor and energized in order to generate non thermal plasma: disc type electrode and needle type electrode. Plasma can also decompose harmful substances by various active species such as reactive radicals (N∗, O∗, OH∗, etc), ions and strong electric field [2-4]. Particles collection rate depended on the discharge voltage, number of mesh filters, flow rate and reactor characteristics. The disc type electrode could collect dust, and its rate reached to 95%. The needle electrode could collect dust, and its rate was reached to 98%. Also formaldehyde removal was carried out to confirm the improving performance of non thermal plasma and reduced below the regulated value of 0.08 ppm.
