The world is reaching for telemedicine. Extensive studies of image-oriented tasks like radiology and ophthalmology have explored practical architectures, technical and organisational, by which to implement it. This paper describes the integration of service methods in a teleophthalmology screening system currently live in India. Earlier studies examined individual features/methods to enhance service; by integrating multiple tools demonstrated by such studies to improve or enhance the service, ForusCare shows a clinical/logistical/financial path to expansion of telemedicine in the developing world to the benefit of the neediest. We emphasise this integration over the technical means.
