Alamouti derived a two-branch transmit diversity scheme for channels without inter symbol interference (ISI) in [1], which provides full space diversity. In order to handle with the corresponding situation when the channel suffers from ISI, a novel transmit diversity scheme applicable to frequency selective channel is proposed. With zero correlation zone (ZCZ) complementary codes, both full space diversity and full frequency diversity can be obtained. Meanwhile, its transmitter and receiver structure are much simpler than the previous scheme, and shows more flexibly. For further improvement of the system performance, Turbo Product Code (TPC) is used as forward error correction code. Simulation results show that the novel scheme can achieve full space diversity and full frequency diversity at the same time. And TPC can significantly decrease the bit error rate (BER).
