Introduction: Since the 1950's the widespread use of endoscopes and microscopes has facilitated new operative techniques in almost all surgical specialties which target restoration of organ functions combined with minimally invasive access. This article focuses on the use of stereo video applications in microscopic surgery of oto-rhino-laryngologic procedures.
