This work mainly presents the adaptive industrial winding multivariable process automatic control system, taking the fiberglass reinforced plastic winding machine as an example. Based on the model adaptive control principle, an algorithm of adaptive control and its gain adjustable controller are presented, which is very suitable for the speed and position servo system control. The presented control algorithm is relatively simple and can both achieve the satisfied effects on the motion control of the fiberglass reinforced plastic winding machines and also is with small errors in tracking any given speed signals as proved in the simulations. This research results can be references to the industrial winding technology study and its improvements with advanced control strategies.
