In this paper, the electronic design of the Chua's circuit, known as the most famous electrical circuit to exemplify chaos, is proposed. It's known that the Chaos behavior of the Chua's circuit is generated thanks to the Chua's diode characterized by a nonlinear function with three piecewise linear segments. However, it has been identified that it is quite difficult to synthesize nonlinear functions with multi-segments by using analog electronic circuits. In this paper, the CAD design of the Chua's diode characterized by its piecewise linear characteristic is achieved using a stage of operational amplifiers. Numerical results prove the usefulness of the proposed solution for generating Multi-scroll Chaos behavior. The electronic circuit is finally used in synchronizing two Chua's oscillators via a state feedback approach. Simulation results prove the effectiveness and the performances of the control strategy based on the electronic design.
