The paper is concerned with non-fragile controller design for descriptor systems with time-delay. A descriptor system has potential to describe a wide class of physical systems. It can give a representation of the system with algebraic constraints. A unique characteristic of descriptor systems is possible impulse modes and non-regularity, which do not appear in state-space systems. This characteristic makes the control of descriptor systems more difficult. When it comes to a control design for physical systems, there are chances that malfunction in actuator happens and an exact value of the control input may not be applied. Hence controller gain variations should be considered in the control design. In this paper, non-fragile control for descriptor delay systems is considered and a control design of stabilizing controllers with non-impulse and regularity is proposed. The stability analysis of the closed-loop system and controller design are given in terms of delay-dependent conditions, which are generally less conservative.
