Owing to the classical Ott-Grebogi-Yorke(OGY) method can only stabilize to the unstable fixed point, an improved OGY method of chaos control, combining feedback control with OGY method, is proposed. The expression of feedback control is introduced into classical OGY method. The output signal with time delay is backed to the original system. The feedback system is controlled by the OGY method. The chaos system can be controlled to different periodic orbit according to the delay time. The simulation results of Henon map verify that the proposed control strategy can drive the chaos system to target periodic orbit in short time. The improved OGY method greatly speeds up the stabilization process of controlling chaos system.
