Because of rich surface water and groundwater in copper, environmental geological problems highlighted. High-pressure water, ground subsidence serious, large displacement of mine and high amount of sediment in water were existed in mine. Underground mine water channel, mine water supply conditions, contact with water and the formation mechanism of surface subsidence were analyzed. Using a series of engineering measures to control the environmental geological problems such as use of pipe backfill grouting to manage surface hole collapse, supported by rotating pile of artificial canals to flood during the rainy season leads to collapse area, static pressure in the collapse area grouting, troubled waters of the main points of plugging underground. The surface water management projects to prevent further occurrence of karst collapse, so the mine discharge and sediment concentration during the rainy season greatly reduced.
