P-F and Q-V droop control strategies have been used and implemented to control power flow for three-phase microgrid mostly based on dq transformation. But these strategies can not be directly applied to the single-phase microgrid. This paper presents a power control strategy for single-phase microgrid based on the single-phase PQ theory. With the help of the PQ theory, the connection current control can take the place of the power control to regulate active and reactive power transmission. A proportional-resonant controller is applied for the connection current control. Simulation results prove the control strategy validity.
