Since China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was officially launched in November 2002, some other important agreements, such as ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement, Agreement on Dispute Settlement Mechanism of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-Operation between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the People's Republic of China, Trade in Services Agreement, the ASEAN-China Investment Agreement, are signed gradually. However, effective, standard and well-coordinated cooperation mechanisms between China and ASEAN are still missing. The author believes that only by structuring effective coordinating mechanisms for financial policies for China - ASEAN Free Trade Area that the coordination among financial policies can be effective and ensure bigger achievement could be made in the process of China and ASEAN cooperation. This paper mainly analyzed the enabling coordinating mechanisms for financial policies for China - ASEAN Free Trade Area from the theory aspect.
