This paper presents an embedded omni-vision Real-Time Object Recognizing system which involves collecting image and correction, the Freeman Chain Code methods, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Private Compute (PC)communication. Employing the high-perform of FPGA and intellectual property (IP) cores from Altera accelerates the speed of calculate and implements Real-Time Object Recognizing. A new Window-based Temporary-store Architecture is suitable for image processing, and a new edge detecting and Freeman Chain Code methods based on FPGA is proposed. Experimental results demonstrates that the system can efficiently offer the Real-Time object recognization.
