Because of the lack of sufficient frequency bands, the TD-SCDMA system is possibly deployed in the same band with other existing communication systems. In this paper, the coexistence studies for the TD-SCDMA system with the radar system, which has been widely deployed in the band 2300-2400 MHz, is presented. The dynamic system simulation methodology is utilized in the coexistence studies, and simulation results of the impacts on the system performance with different isolation distance and frequency spacing are given. The feasibility of the coexistence between TDSCDMA and the radar system is investigated and some useful conclusions are also presented.
