Nowadays, under the influence of Computer Assisted Language Learning, class hours are becoming well-designed performance of teachers, while after-class hours are becoming free sky of autonomous learning by students. The roles of teacher in autonomous learning are still under research; as a result, the situation in college English teaching now is a little confusing. On the basis of language output and language test techniques, this paper is discussing that teachers are playing a more important role in the relation between class-room teaching and autonomous learning-homework-design, and it also proposes some possible teaching techniques and methods.
