It introduces a new air conditioning terminal, combined by capillary ceiling and displacement ventilation, to keep indoor thermal comfort and air quality. Both ceiling radiation heating model and air conditioning terminal model combined by capillary ceiling and displacement ventilation are constructed to solve indoor temperature and relative humidity fields and evaluate indoor thermal comfort. The simulation results are highly consistent with the experimental results. It indicates that established models are correct and can be able to resolve such kind of engineering problem. It is also found that this new type air conditioning terminal can provide good indoor thermal comfort for occupants.
