In this paper, the satellite communication system consisting of the earth transmitting station and the satellite transponder is considered. Switch and stay combining (SSC) diversity technics are used on receiving satellite and receiving earth stations to reduce fading influence to the system performances. The presence of Nakagami-m fading on receiving satellite and receiving earth stations is observed. The probability density functions (PDFs) of the signal at the Earth receiver station output are given for different parameters. The outage probability, as standard performance criterion of communication systems operating over fading channels, is determined under upper conditions.
