Stability, rapidity and accuracy are very important performances in Electric Power Steering (EPS). In this paper, it was explained that the contradictions among these performances can't be avoided when using traditional feedback control methods. To resolve this problem, the EPS model and feed-forward control method were studied. And then, a fuzzy PID associate with feed-forward control algorithm was proposed. Through the real vehicle experimental verification, the integrated control algorithm can improve the performance of EPS significantly.
