According to study the driver's information acquisition and processing mechanism during driving process on curved sections, the mechanism the traffic information affecting on driving behaviors was comprehensively analyzed. On the basis of information asymmetry theory, the driver's traffic information processing mode is improved through distinguishing information sources and information perception model. On these grounds, this paper proposed the mechanism that the information asymmetry affecting on traffic safety and improved the information processing model in curved sections. Finally, the author analyzed the effect of information asymmetry on driver's psychophysics, driving speed and driving tracks based on curve radius and sight distance. The research result is significant to provide references for setting reasonable safety facilities and developing safety management measures for curved sections.
