Clustered firms are more readily to explore and exploit external knowledge by constructing an ego inter-firm network in its growth process. The purpose of the paper is to discuss governance of networking mechanism of clustered firms. The paper suggests classifying networking mechanism into five patterns according to three managerial dimensions i.e. networking scope, Network embeddedness and control structure, from a perspective of exploring and exploiting resources from inter-firm network. And the paper also suggests governance pattern of networking mechanism should be adjusted according to firm's growth process.
