This paper studied current condition of social support toward migrant women in Jiangsu province. It was based on a poll of 1187 randomly sampled migrant people (729 females and 458 males) and was conducted by means of Social Support Review Scale (SSRS) and self-compiled questionnaire on general situation. By descriptive statistics, variance analysis and regression analysis, the results indicate that differences of various degrees among people surveyed lie in two aspects: sociology of population factors and migrant experiences and characteristics. Concrete items contained are gender, age, education, marital status, stay duration, daily working hours, frequency of returning hometowns, stability of employment, satisfaction toward one's living condition and whether working and living in the same city with one's families.
