As one of the key technologies in TD-LTE-Advanced downlink system, MIMO-OFDMA (Multi-Input and Multi-Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Access) achieves high system throughput by using multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver while eliminating intra-cell interference by utilizing closely-spaced orthogonal sub-carriers. Nonetheless, the inter-cell interference among several UEs remains unsolved. Therefore CoMP(Coordinated Muti-Point transmission/reception) is introduced to solve this problem. This paper studies different MU(Multi User) CoMP schemes based on two different coordinated topologies and transparent/non-transparent MU(Multi User)-MIMO. The simulation results shows the CoMP schemes achieve different gains in average sector throughput and 5% edge-user throughput as compared to the performance of conventional pre-coding scheme.
