The new advances in sensor device technologies provided a variety of usages for these tiny devices. However, the main constraint of these devices namely their low energy characteristic still dominate their applicably in different application environment. There are a myriad of research to tackle the inherent shortcoming of these devices ranging from different routing protocols to variety of scheduling techniques for availability of sensor devices for monitoring or communication purposes. This paper investigates an efficient self-evaluating technique which is based on neighbors' data to improve the lifetime of wireless sensor networks.
