We investigate the capacity of MIMO-CDMA system based on LS spread sequence with suboptimum multicode detector in Ricean fading channel. We compare the capacity of optimum ML multicode detector and suboptimum ZF (zero-forcing) multicode detector under two different Ricean models. It shows multicode detector's behavior is very different with different Ricean models. When Ricean channel is beneficial, performance of ZF multicode detector can approach that of ML multicode detector rapidly as K-factor increases. Otherwise, the loss of capacity incurred by ZF multicode detector is significance when K-factor increases. This result gives guideline in the development of practical wideband MIMO-CDMA system based on LS code.
