A business ethics course has been part of our undergraduate curriculum since its inception. Students have always liked the course for its social application and timely usefulness. We wanted to make the course scientific and values and skills laden. But first we wanted to see the exact ??needs?? of a business ethics course by conducting a worldwide survey. Even though responses from international universities were not very encouraging, we decided to use the results of the survey responses of the American universities. After we got the results we wanted to tweak the curriculum to adapt to desirable values and skills in ethics. The following paper is the result of a two-stage development - first, a survey was conducted and the second is the application of the results of the survey in imparting values and skills in the form of intended outcomes in the course.
