By introducing the role concept of computer supported collaborative work (CSCW) into the grid environment, a novel efficient grid resource collaboration model base on facilitator role (FR) is presented. In this model, FRs, the independence components of gird collaboration system, can produce some cooperation elements (CEs) that dynamically collect and intelligently mine the cooperation willingness from the grid resource providers (PRs). Then these corresponding PRs are combined into a more power PR resource community (named as PR+) in advance to complete a potential task. This collaboration mechanism provides grid services actively and consciously, just opposite to the passive, mechanical and acceptable gird services. It promotes much better collaboration and sharing of grid resources, and offers much better personalized, active services for the grid users.
