Space-time block codes (STBCs) have been attracting wider attention due to their amenability for fast maximum-likelihood (ML) decoding, and full-rate with full-rank over quasi-static fading channels. In this paper, a space and time code with n antenna in transmitter and one antenna in receiver is proposed. It can achieve performance of m antennas for m Gt n (n=1, 2, 4. m=2n). Simulation results show that the proposed space and time code has several desirable properties, such as a less complexity compared with the quasi orthogonal space time block code (QO-STBC) and low peak to average power ratio (PAPR) compared with the coordinate interleaved orthogonal design (CIOD).
