With the ideas of the classic electrostatic field, a new electrostatic field termination criterion for evolutionary algorithm is proposed in this paper. We get a new electrostatic field evolutionary algorithm model as follow: The searching region of the object-function is regard as a metal conductor first; then all the individuals are considered as the free metal ions; moreover we take the object-function F(x) as the electrostatic field E surrounding the metal conductor. Finally, we give a new electrostatic field termination criterion with the classic electrostatic field theory. The new algorithm is used to solve some global optimal problems and satisfactory numerical results are achieved. The results show it can converge to the global minimum quickly and reduce the evaluations effectively.
