We use a novel multitree/mesh design to utilize the locality properties of network. The multitree-based mesh over a structured P2P overlay reduces the long delay of P2P Internet video broadcast system. Through analysis and simulation, we show that the partnership management and scheduling algorithm of MTreeTV has short delay (<9s) and high playback continuity (>98%). We also explore how the size of buffer, the number of partners, the bandwidth of node and the streaming rate can influence MTreeTV's performance.
