A four element spiral array was designed to operate continuously from 1100-1600 MHz with greater than 1 dBic peak realized gain and good upper hemispherical coverage (greater than -4.5 dBic for thetasles80deg). The array including its dielectric loading has a size of 3.5"(L) x 3.5"(W) x 0.8"(H). As such, it fits into the existing FRPA-3 footprint and radome. In addition, the array has four elements which allow spatial nulling of interfering signals, common in GNSS applications. Further return loss improvements are being investigated and will be included with measurement results during the presentation.
