The paper presents some research efforts regarding the modeling, numerical simulation and experimental research of embryonic systems with the purpose to design and to implement digital systems with abilities of biological organism. From theoretical point of view, concepts from cellular embryology are used for VLSI digital systems design and development. The study is focused in founding researches regarding an original model elaboration of artificial molecule, and simulation its functions and interaction capabilities. Is also presented a new architecture and operation mode for the artificial molecule used to implement different genes in artificial cells. The simulated results were compared with experimental ones, implemented on a laboratory prototype development board with programmable FPGA arrays.
