To minimize the overall transmit power while maintaining a constant data rate and target BER, a downlink adaptive resource allocation algorithm with G type channel estimated error at the base station is proposed for multiuser space-time block coding and beam forming (STBC-BF) MIMO-OFDM system in correlated channels. The algorithm allocates the subcarriers with the shared manner. A null steering processing based on main angle of direction of departure (DOD) is used to suppress co-channel interference (CCI), construct uncorrelated channels for STBC, and reduce the number of base station (BS) transmit antennas. An adaptive power allocation for the STBC equivalent channels increases the signal to interference and noise ratio at the receiver. The simulation results show that despite the partial channel status information (CSI) and the angle spread of DOD, the proposed algorithm improves the system performance.
